When Carrie Underwood married hockey player Mike Fisher earlier this year she chose a pair of sparkly white satin Stuart Weitzman pumps. The sparkling wedding shoes were sprinkled with pink Swarovski crystals on the heels and also on the top of the shoe. The shoes she chose were the Avalon and also featured a peep toe. Her beautiful Monique Lhuiller gown kept the platform shoes covered up most of the time but they were ravishing when you could see them.
For the reception, Carrie slipped into a strapless mini dress from the same maker with another pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes in a darker shade to match the sash of her dress. The ultra feminine look worked out well for the former Miss Underwood who recently celebrated her twenty seventh birthday.
Carrie Underwood has had a very exciting year; she recently picked up six awards at the first ever American Country Awards. Carrie won the Album of the Year Award for Play On, Tour of the Year and Artist of the Year among other awards. Carrie also won the Country Music Artist of the Year award at the Academy of Country Music Awards held in April 2010.
Carrie has been a fan favorite since her days on American Idol where she beat out Bo Bice to win. She has a busy tour schedule through December and will start out strong on her 2011 tour at the Borgata Casino Event center in Atlantic City New Jersey January 1st.
